We are looking for an experienced Dispensary / pharmacy / formulations scientist to lead a team of formulations scientists / pharmacists providing dispensary services in a pharmaceutical research environment. The department conducts a range of safety assessment studies on pharmaceutical products across a range of therapeutic areas - test formulations are developed in-house in a formulation dispensary.
Team Leader – Dispensary / Pharmacy Cambridgeshire £35,000 region + bens
Increased research activity has lead to a new role of Formulation Dispensary / Pharmacy Team Leader. The role will entail management of a team of formulation scientists / pharmacists, planning and scheduling workloads and will have responsibility for quality. There is a truly diverse range of formulations; chemical and biological in a variety of formats including dietary mixtures, capsules, solutions and suspensions.
Suitable candidates will be degree / higher degree qualified with a strong background in formulation chemistry, pharmacy or dispensary and proven man management skills, ideally in a formulation environment. Your formulation experience will include sterile and non-sterile formulations; dietary mixtures, capsules, solutions and suspensions. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with all levels of colleagues and be comfortable talking to customers. You will have strong GLP/GMP and regulatory knowledge and an understanding of the regulatory drug development process.
